    Taking “Breaks” In Long-Term Relationships?

Question by Curious: Taking “Breaks” In Long-Term Relationships?
We’ve been dating for 2 Yrs & been frequently arguing lately.

He told me that he wants a 3 week “break” from me & that he’ll give me an answer before or at 3 weeks if he wants to continue our relationship.

He told me if I didn’t want to wait 3 weeks for an answer he wanted to be done ’cause he was mad.

He wants space & I’m giving it to him. I haven’t been calling or e-mailing.

I’m hoping if I leave him alone & give him space he’ll want to continue our relationship.

Are “breaks” usually for space or is it ’cause there’s another girl?

    Help, please! ;(

Don’t you think using the Yahoo! Questions “Singles and Dating” section to try and get a date is sad?

Question by mantoothnation: Don’t you think using the Yahoo! Questions “Singles and Dating” section to try and get a date is sad?
Who else will show support for the fact that THIS IS NOT THE PERSONALS SECTION! Half the posts in the Single and Dating section are “I love like this – blah, blah – would you date me?”

Get a life, huh? Who’s with me?
While I’m at it – I’d like the following as well:

    1. An end to the the “I caught my husband in bed with three strippers, a midget and a goat. Do you think he’s cheating on me?” questions

    2. Please give the 16 and younger set their own Singles/dating section.

    3. NO. YOUR LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT WORK!

Am I just a mad tyrant? Let’s discuss.

    [Request #4: Brooke/Lucas - Only One]

Request From: kisslovesex1sunshine (Hope you enjoy!!!) Description: A video comparing Brooke & Lucas lives and showing the changes they’ve gone through and how deep down they need each other IMO. I gave this video a two against the world vibe lol. A lot of you know in my videos I don’t just like to do coupling videos. I have to go more into studying each character and showing how their lives connect to one another/parallels, etc. & then bring in more couply moments. For EX. Comparing the Nathan/Lucas relationship and Brooke/Peyton and how Lucas/Brooke always put their happiness in how their friends are doing around them or basically how they always try to help. Another thing about Brooke & Lucas they both internalize SO MUCH! I tried to show that in their personalities in the video. I think it’s a big reason a lot of their relationships fail at times…They keep people at arms length and aren’t willing to fully commit. They get scared & run off. Also the need each 1 of them brings IMO…Brooke and her issues at first with her mom & Lucas & his dad. They both like to shrug things off as if they are ok, but in the end there is still that emptiness inside them & feeling of being wanted. Also what their parents ultimately do to them – feeling of not being wanted, thinking the worse of them always (IE Gun paralleling of Lucas vs his Dad and Brooke laying the gun down for her mom bc at first she thought it was her mom). I brought in the scene of her aiming it at her attacker to
